I am often disappointed by ski resort food, but this lunch was perfect: delicious homemade chips, my daughter said that the Carbonara is the best they eat, amazing burgers... and the dessert were also fantastic. Very welcome. We'll be back.
We returned to this restaurant after a years absence are quite amazed new management means the menu has finally changed the service was more than satisfactory. It was just very odd going into a restaurant where I have been a regular customer...for over 15 years and suddenly finding that I no longer know a single person that works there!
We had a delicious meal here. The welcome was like the atmosphere with the beautiful open fire in the center of the restaurant. There was a good selection of main courses and several specials. I had the calf livers that were perfect...a little caramelized outside and melting and luscious in the middle. There were also some nice companions on the plate. An extensive wine list and then one we chose was very delicious. Service was top class and the price was appropriate given the quality of food.
The new owner Nicholas has brought a new level of kitchen and customer care to an established mountain restaurant to a large wooden fire. The choice is extensive and excellent from our first experience of 4 different main courses. The service was excellent and... the large wooden fire added to the warm atmosphere. Very recommended.
