However, after discovering this restaurant, I have been a regular visitor, going every two weeks. I've tried various dishes, including sushi, maki, rolls, and noodles, but the Chirashi stands out as the best by far. It features a variety of fresh and abundant fish toppings. Today, I ordered Chirashi, rainbow maki, and miso soup through Uber Eats, and the flavors were consistently delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chirashi at this restaurant!
I would advise against dining here! I wish I had checked the Google reviews beforehand. The fish was not fresh at all; the salmon was dark, and the sashimi tasted off. It's very overpriced for such low-quality food. The eel rice I ordered was excessively sweet and contained only three small pieces of eel. To make matters worse, they even included carrots in the dish, which feels unprofessional. Additionally, they automatically add an 18% tip, which is absurd considering the poor quality of the food and the environment. Overall, this experience was not worth the $80 I spent.
My favorite sushi restaurant in Boston! What I love about the sushi here is that it’s always high quality and fresh. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m in the mood for excellent sushi. My favorite dishes include chirashi, avocado ball, and fried green tea ice cream.
This hidden gem of a restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The avocado ball is a must-try and absolutely delicious. However, today's sashimi selection wasn't up to its usual standard, although the sea scallop was an exception and really tasty. The uni was quite small but still flavorful. The hand rolls took a little longer to arrive, resulting in the seaweed becoming a bit chewy. The softshell crab had an unexpectedly sweet batter, which was a bit off-putting. On the positive side, the seared sea scallop roll was excellent with a nice smoky flavor, while the caterpillar roll was just average. Overall, it's one of the better sushi spots around, and I would recommend it to anyone. Just keep in mind that the place is small, so it might be wise to wait during busy times.
As a touring musician, I’m giving this place 5 stars for its service and quality, even late in the evening when they were about to close. I travel across the country often, and this restaurant is truly a gem in the heart of Brighton. Thank you for a wonderful meal! The seared yellowtail maki with truffle sauce and the spicy crispy tuna maki were AMAZING! Highly RECOMMENDED!
