Nay's Bamboo Kitchen - Alma

This place is my all time favorite restaurant ever! I fell in love with the one in Mount Pleasant and always enjoyed chatting with Lor. I live in Phoenix now, and I stop every time I'm in the area. Heck, I'm sure I'll stop here two more times before I head back to the valley. Even in Phoenix, with all their trendy and local joints, I truly never found a place that compares. Sure, this place is a dive, but the food is the real deal.

Food is excellent as always. It's nice to see the owners have retired and my hats off to them. They are very good people. The new owners are fantastic and they are taking a day off. I never had a bad experience and never had any food I didn't like. Call in your order pick it up and enjoy or pop in order wait a few minutes and it's ready to go. The owners know a lot of customers by name and what they like. Awesome!!!

This was our go to Chinese restaurant when I was a kid. It has been 30yrs or so since I've enjoyed their food. My husband was doing a job in Alma. We live an hr and a half away. I placed an order and they packed it so well in a box that it was still hot and crispy when he got home! I will admit they are very different from what I remember as a kid, most of it better! We ordered sweet and sour chicken with sauce on the side and orange chicken. The chicken was amazing, crispy and juicy. The house made sweet and sour sauce is the best we have ever had as were the amazing egg rolls. I hate to say we really struggled with the fried rice though. We will definitely be ordering again! Thank you wonderful staff at Nay's!!

New ownership, and great food! I specifically enjoyed the Orange Chicken, and the Crab Rangoons. The food has really improved since I last ate there. I plan to return for my future cravings of Chinese food.

This is the first time I've had Nay's, despite having lived in the area for almost 10 years. I am pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food, as well as the staff! I can definitely see why they've been in business for 30 years!!!
