Service with a smile and more than decent price. It’s not in the touristic area which is a plus as it’s not overcrowded. We will return for sure next time we are in Lisbon.
Great little local Portugese restaurant. Ingredients are fresh and tasty cooked by the owner. Fabulous desserts made fresh daily
As a tourist, I always like an honest meal and this is what you will get in the neighbourhood eatery. Of the three days I have been in Lisbon, the freshest fish I have eaten is from O Helio. The prices are extremely good, the service most courteous, the place is rustic but charming. Cuisine it is not but the food here is good and fresh. Visa cards are accepted. I would recommend this place as a no-frills comfortable, honest eatery.
Great small restaurant with great food and a very friendly owner who understands the way toact as an excellent host. Great dishes and wine after a exhausting day in Lisboa. Highly recommended!
We are proud the provide the first rating for this restaurant. We stayed opposite in the Hotel Lux Lisboa and thought to give it a try. The restaurant is not huge, but cosy and nice inside. When we made our choices, we were offered “Zwieback” (rusk), with a piece of packaged butter and a portion of thuna spread pragmatic... The main courses (salmon and veal) were freshly prepared by the owner and tasted as well as the wine. As a desert we had fresh pineapple and a wonderful coffee. This place will never make it to Guide Michelin (and does not aim for), but it offers an authentic experience to an adequate price. We definitely recommend!
