Parador De Almagro

Town is charming and the accommodations are stellar. Loved everything. Be sure to explore all the various patios and courtyards in the hotel. Very late checkout (to 17:00) available for extra fee. Pool was closed — the only disappointment

Stayed half board, which we find the best value. Great local regional cuisine wines. Never been disappointed by Parador dining yet.

We were staying in this hotel overnight so made use of the half-board deal. This entitles you to 3 courses picked from their normal menu where you are just charged a small amount for a couple of dishes as a supplement. It focuses on local dishes with which is a great idea as they have fresh produce for everything. We had a variety of local Tapas for starters which were good and the steaks we had for maincourse with both cooked beautifully and very tasty. The deserts were terrific as well and complimented the whole meal nicely. You eat in a converted convent so it is full of history and beautifully maintained. The service was outstanding as well.

Espectacular. Entorno encantador, tranquilo, interiores mágicos, rodeados de colores y decoración envolvente. Platos preparados y servidos con gran esmero. Buena carta de vinos. Magníficos postres caseros y una atención al cliente fabulosa. Recomendado al cien por cien. Volveremos. Muchas gracias por todo.
