Ten of us came here for dinner, ranging across three generations. The food was fine I had a pizza and creme brule and the service was friendly, if not exactly swift. The real star was the location and the atmosphere. There was a great...band playing covers and lots of people were milling around waiting to have dinner or having just finished. The whole area was really buzzy and people were definitely enjoying themselves. The whole place was full of kids so, while there were people out for a romantic dinner, it’s really more of a family destination.
The restaurant has a great spot overlooking the sea. The food though, let 's it down. There is nothing wrong with it perse, it 's just a bit 'meh as my teenage son would say. It 's ok but nothing to write home about and not a place...I would recommend. What didn 't help was the live band that set up in the square outside, which was loud and annoying. Shame.
If you want to eat something madeira typical, you have to go there! the meat and all the food is really good! and even today if they want to take food away because of the coronavirus, they are open and they can go there...or call the restaurant to order several types of food! o really recommend to try it! toay I ordered prego no bolo do caco and they were really delicious! don't think twice!
A group of us eating here twice and the service was very good. good Italian menu that matched the different taste of the group. Eat was good and we enjoy both meal times that we had here.
