Hard Rock Cafe - Almaty

Not the place to go for authentic Kazakh cuisine, but an excellent spot for something tried and tested if you need a break from the local cuisine. Large menu with plenty of drinks options, friendly staff who speak good English and, of course, the jumpsuit worn by Flea in The Big Lebowski as you walk up the stairs!

We stopped over at the Hard Rock for one beer because they had some kind of bingo game was going on unfortunately. The shop looked pricey apart from that I would say typical Hard Rock Cafe. I only tried local beer and it was okay.

The restaurant was close for private event so I couldn't really see but the boutique was rather small with so little choice of apparels. The sizes were small too maybe because Kazakh people are small...

After traveling through Kyrgyzstan we wanted a little western comfort: this is exactly what we have here, facilitated by the extremely good English, which is spoken by a co-worker above all. eating was not perfect (burger was a little dry and the cheesecake was to blunt, terrible) but we had such a good experience here I must highly evaluate it. go for the ambiente, the service and the alcohol.
