Visited a year ago and walked off after being ignored by staff and owners who were clearly having laughs with friends or relatives visiting. Decided to try again today with friends on holiday. We ordered coffees and beer and told the waitress we would be eating. Asked if we could use a second menu she said yes but we had to get it ourselves. The coffees arrived minus spoons we asked she laughed and we thought went to get them. She then went off to serve a cyclist with a beer so after a few minutes we went in to get the spoon. We asked if they were doing tapas and the answer was yes it 's in the menu we waited and waited, caught her eye to remind her we wanted to order, and waited and waited. By now we had finished the drinks so we decided to go. I went inside to pay , looked at her and nothing, not even an acknowledgement. Once again the owners were inside entertaining a small circle apart from them it was empty and there were 6 others outside not including us, so hardly busy. Once bad luck, twice?? Wish we could comment on the food but never managed to get any. Lived locally for several years. This bar is badly run by people with no perception of customer service. Oh sorry, the coffee and beer were ok
Just back from the port you will find this small friendly bar/cafe. There were mainly English locals that were here for a snack or coffee. We had a cheese and ham toasted sandwich. Not the best value for money but nice all the same.
Great little bar, mostly frequented by British people, the owner Mark and his staff are always friendly. The food they serve here is always freshly cooked and excellent value for money and the portions are great. Keep up the good work Laurie.
Jets Bar is now called Bar La Plaza since the current owner Mark took over a few years ago, We have been using this place for many years due to it`s central location in villaricos and it`s outside dining area, superb for People Watching Since Mark has taken over, the place has improved quite a lot. The staff are friendly and efficient, service is always prompt and with a polite smile. Food is either spanish or english, always good quality with ample portions. Try the Tapas, at 1e per portion you can`t go wrong, very tasty and filling
