King Kong Ramen - Alor Setar

Back for 2nd review after my last in 2019. Review is just based on their basic menu item which in this case the Ramen. Slight improvement overall in the taste. However i feel they should make the broth a bit more thicker and rich. Parking is ok. Price wise fair, any higher then the standard and quality should go in par, not the opposite.

I’m a big fan of spicy Tonkotsu (pork broth) style ramen and King Kong Ramen makes a pretty decent bowl of spicy Tonkotsu which they call Volcano Ramen. The pork charsu is nicely charred on the edges and the broth is flavourful and strong. There are also other traditional Japanese dishes on the menu.

The environment is nice and calm, good customer service. I ordered volcano ramen, it surprisingly very good!!! Cha Siew tasty and the, whole bowl is flavorful. As usual nothing left in my bowl

Surprised with my lunch today. A big portion of rice, meat prawn salad and soup. She mentioned that some of the dishes are fusion. I would say it's really good, tasty, cheap,big portion.
