Lai Huat Curry Mee - Alor Setar

Famous Curry mee at Alor Setar eaten by all breeds as it is Halal. Waiting time approx. 15-20 minutes depending on the amount as some came to take several packages. The curry was not too thick, but tasteful, not spicy. You could add more Curry Paste if you prefer to be more spicy. Comes with tofu stuff, chicken pieces, half hard boiled egg beans. Tea from the restaurant was not too sweet. Try it.

Here I visited my parents. You love the Nasi Padang here. 20 years later, I'm surprised it's still here. Tapau some things and it's just as good as I remember. The perut masak padang is so good. Something sweet, the beef tripe is super soft tender. Delicious, creamy. Also ordered Rendang Daging. It's very coconut eye. I suppose I have a lot of kerisik. Very nice. Not too sharp. Also Tapau gulai daging rebung. Really good. There are many dishes I didn't try. Come back when I visit Kedah. Also could not try the curry mee. Next time. In any case, the nasi padang recommends.

I need to visit kopitiam when I'm in Alor Setar next to the next door kopitiam next to Ukir Mall. Best Curry mee in Alor Setar. Cream broth, juicy tails and the Sambal are just the best. The part is generous enough to fill your belly and satisfy your appetite. There are also Nasi Padang Ställe in the Copiton, with various choices of dishes, although the taste has slightly reduced today, but still taste pretty delicious.

Halal curry mee. My first bite was a mouthful of santan which has not been fully blend in with the rest of the curry. Brought by locals here to try which is supposedly the best curry mee in town. Cockles are nice, substantial and succulent. Mee is cooked to perfection, not overcooked or undercooked. The soup itself is too sweet for my liking. I would say this bowl of curry mee is above average.
