After almost a decade, I had a craving for Mee Abu's Koay Teow. It took a while for my order to arrive, and after finishing my meal, I left the restaurant. Within an hour, I started feeling unwell and my throat felt strange. By the evening, I vomited all the food I had eaten. I was completely disappointed and regretted going to Mee Abu. I am unsure about the type of oil and ingredients they use in their cooking.
Order fried kueh tiaw and pasembur each cost RM 6.00, which i think its a little bit pricy on the pasembur more to vege) Taste still maintain and still using charcoal Thats where the uuumph is.
One of local delights fried on charcoal stove. 2 choice either soup or fried. Original taste. A must when you visit Alor Setar.
This restaurant in Alor Setar is a great spot to try the renowned Mee Abu. However, the flavor is just so-so and doesn't live up to the excitement surrounding it.
