The children and grandchildren had a great time playing karaoke. Two large birthday cakes with candles were brought out for the celebration. The restaurant has a modern feel while still honoring traditional Chinese dining customs. Downstairs is the main dining area, while upstairs there are private dining rooms and meeting spaces. The air conditioning works well and there are elevators to reach the first floor. Overall, it's a great spot to visit for special occasions.
This is one of the largest Chinese restaurants in town, with multiple dining halls and VIP rooms. It is recommended to call ahead and make reservations before arriving. The food quality here is average, although it used to be better in the past. Hopefully, the restaurant will put more effort into improving this aspect. Parking is readily available, but be aware that there may be locals collecting RM2 if you choose to park along the roadside.
I recently had dinner at a restaurant in Alor Setar for the first time, and I was quite surprised by the experience. I was unsure if this was typical of the restaurant's service, as we had to pour our own drinks and clear our own plates. The food served was also a bit of a disappointment, as the fish and prawns were not fresh. It seemed like everything was do-it-yourself at this restaurant.
I and my family had lunch here. The part of the dishes was enough for 4 Paxs, the staff were helpful and the price was also reasonable. If you want to visit this restaurant during CNY or weekend, please go early.
Eating was good for a KL person. = P I was in the hall on the highest floor, it had no corridor to share the amount for admission (wedding dinner event), but all in all food was great!!!
