Wonderful location, perfect for a break after either a good trekking or biking trip. Very nice meals, typical, tasty and fresh. Remember to bring with you cash because they do not accept credit cards.

Following recommendation from the tourist office we decided to have something to eat here before going for a small hike. It was just what we were looking for...very typical Swiss chalet and great food. The Rostï was one of the best i have ever had!...In my opinion the prices were a bit too high for what we had, but the great atmosphere and quality of food made up for it. Very nice little rest stop

Shame they only take cash, bit of a hike to the nearest cash point, and greater shame that this couldn’t be communicated in a less brusque way. Will time our next walk for L’Etable!

Authentic mountain cuisine given ambiance by the original wooden hut. Food fine, ranging from cheese en crute to fondue or meat. Staff could have been friendly though, it wouldn’t have hurt them.
