Excellent food and quick, friendly service! I got so much to eat that I ended up with two dinners from one order.

This is our go-to restaurant in Alpena. While the food on the buffet isn't always fresh, they promptly replace any dishes when requested. Everything we’ve tried from the menu has been excellent. They serve the best dripping soup!

The food was fresh and delicious! I took my mother out for lunch, and while we usually go to the China buffet, we decided to try Hunan's this time since it had been a while since our last visit. We ordered the puu puu platter and also tried the lunch buffet, which included a cup of soup of your choice and a drink. The service was excellent—very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean as well.

Good choice on the buffet and had all good taste. including a selection at desserts. it was about $15. per person without drinks.

Excellent food. Jimmy is a genius in the kitchen. Best Chinese food in northern Michigan.
