Great breakfast in a small town. friendly service in decent tempo. the French toast was good, but easy to hurry. the best breakfast we had in the city!

We visited in August 2020 and had a fantastic experience! We discovered this restaurant through a recommendation from our hotel. We went for breakfast, and the food was outstanding! It would be tough to find a restaurant in Chicago that serves food as delicious and hot. The hospitality was remarkable; it felt like we were having breakfast with family. Everyone was friendly and treated us with the warmth of a hometown atmosphere. If you're looking for a GREAT breakfast, be sure to stop by North Coney Island. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite spots! The place hasn't changed much over the years, and that's what makes it so perfect. The menu is simple, exactly what you'd expect from a hot dog joint. Their hot dogs are fantastic, the sauce is delicious, and the onion rings are amazing. Plus, the Red Wings decor adds an extra touch. The staff here is also very friendly! The restaurant is small, and it can get crowded, but that only enhances the experience! If you're in the mood for a great coney dog, this is an excellent choice!

Denise, Lynn, and Kaley truly make this place exceptional. They serve the best breakfast, and for lunch, I absolutely adore their BLTs. While it is on the pricier side, it’s definitely better than any chain restaurant!

Everyone one was soo friendly! If you want a GREAT breakfast, you want to stop at North Coney Island restaurant.
