Cheng's Kitchen - Alpha

The best Chinese food takeout place within miles. Perhasps within many, many miles. Everything on the menu at Cheng's Kitchen is very tasty, and it's never oily or gluey like way too many other places. I live within walking distance, but I'd happily drive a good distance to get food from here. Parking: Plenty of free strip mall parking. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Parking: In a lot with other restaurants, so it's one massive parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a dip in the curb that allows for wheelchairs to get on the sidewalk. I was very hopeful based on the reviews here but my experience was disappointing. I ordered General Tso's chicken and specifically asked they make it crispy. Their version was mushy exterior with rubbery meat. Sauce was very sweet without much complexity or heat. Pork fried was similarly mediocre with rubbery meat, undercooked vegetables and an aftertaste of old oil. I'm new to the area and will continue my quest for a good Chinese restaurant in Phillipsburg/ Easton. Sad to say this is not the place.

Best Chinese food in the area! I been coming here my entire life and it's always been great! Great food and wonderful people.
