Someone please post pictures of filth and disrepair and contact the health department immediately!Omg did those poppy seeds on my bagel just move? Did I just see glade plug-ins being used to hide the hideous smell of sewage at the entrance? When was the last health inspection of this filthy place done where the health inspector wasn’t bribed to get a good score?Despite the best bagels in Georgia, this place is located in a should be condemned trailer diner in total disrepair. The rude help put no effort into keeping it clean and the owners don’t spend a dime to maintain it. Even a simple fresh coat of paint to cover chair marks against the wall, cleaning air conditioning vents and sweeping the floor are too expensive for the owners. Did I mention no pricing on the menu because of “changing prices due to inflation” and the cheapness of owners to print or change menus? It would just be another item needed to be cleaned by inept teenage boys who sweep water and liquid spills with a nasty broom instead of a mop.
One of my favorite spots but it’s EXPENSIVE. For example, a bagel pizza costs more than a real pizza at a restaurant. Salads $15. That being said, all their sandwiches have real ingredients. Real eggs. No cheap microwaveable alternatives. You just have to put up with the strong smell that lingers on your clothes while you wait. Sometimes the slowness frustrates me but it’s still part of my regular spots
I walked into the restaurant and saw the bagels (which look amazing btw) andDecided to try lunch because they had the boar's head sign in the window. The menus weren't working at the time so I asked for a menu which had no prices, and the selections I saw there wasn't salami/turkey, so I asked for a sandwich with both. The sandwich itself was 12.99.Adding salami was $3.00She asked if I wanted cheese that was an additional $1.00.16.99+ tax for just a sandwich? No thank you, I walked out. Went right around the corner where I got a half of an Italian boar's head sub and chips and drink for $9.00Keep in mind, this is a bagel sandwich. Not even schlotsky's charges that much which is a fresh baked bread/round sandwich company, on the more pricey end.Would challenge the owners to list prices, fix their monitors, offer lunch specials.
Wonderful place to have breakfast bagels are so fresh and tasty that I think they could compete with New York City bagels this place will give you fresh tasty bagel with the nicest cream cheeses ,egg salads, egg with ham or bacon anything you can think of you can get over here and it’s delicious I will always always recommend this place
I love these bagels... Nova cream cheese on an everything bagel from Brooklyn Bagel may be my last dying wish. The place is always busy, but don't turn around because they're worth the wait!
