A bit cramped campsite, but they try to look after every guest. Located between the highway and the railway. I still slept well. You only hear rush hour traffic around 6:30 a.m. It's not far from the Pilatus cog railway. Either within walking distance or at the train station for a flat rate of 5.00 SFR per day.
We received a very friendly welcome and (in our opinion) got the best place with a view of the lake and mountains. A small, manageable campsite with everything that goes with it. Over time you can get used to the noise from the street (below), the motorway and the train (above the square). A “background noise” can be heard all the time. What we find really negative is that clean water, gray water and the chemical toilet are all in the same place (hose). From a hygiene point of view, this is not a good solution!
Small, fine campsite with everything you need. Very friendly staff. Great location above the lake. In the morning we had a nice view from the roof tent as the sun rose. Sanitary facilities clean but perhaps a bit too small. Otherwise really highly recommended, especially if you don't like it to be as crowded as in Lucerne.
Very nice and cheap place, right on the lake with a view of the mountains. Super friendly staff
