The Globe - ALRESFORD

I had an excellent lunch at the restaurant. I opted for the fishcake as a starter, while my daughter chose a side of fries, and my 17-year-old son decided to have lemon as his dish—an unusual combination, but everyone got exactly what they wanted. Everything was perfectly cooked. I plan to return with my wife for a proper meal next time. The view of the sea is lovely when you get a good table, though in the summer, it feels more like dining in a garden with glimpses of the water.

This charming old pub is located on the outskirts of Alresford by the lake. While there is no parking available on-site, there are plenty of spots nearby. The beer is excellent, the food is delicious, and the view of the lake is stunning.

I had a delightful Sunday lunch at the restaurant, enjoying the lovely atmosphere and the delicious food. The staff were fantastic as well. I ordered fish and chips, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely be coming back!

Had lunch here today in this beautiful old pub with a view of a pond. we chose fish and chips and really enjoyed them. the personal was so friendly and efficient, we loved it. we will definitely return.

Quaint old-fashioned style. Wonderful outside seating area with beautiful view of a lake with variety of bird-life. Staff very welcoming. My meal was plentiful and tasty.
