This was a truly stylish Italian restaurant. The food was more than spot on and the WINE insatiable pairing. Do try the Primitivo

The food was lovely and the hostess and waiting staff were great, really welcoming and friendly.Unfortunately we had to make a complaint which was not handled very well. I found a piece of meat in my vegan meal, granted the meal was taken away immediately and a new one brought out. However, a man who we presumed was the owner then came over to make a joke asking “any chicken in it? Fish?”, luckily I was ok about it but another vegan may have been very upset about the situation and not have appreciated a joke.Furthermore, we expected that the meal would be knocked off the bill, but the full amount was charged, even down to the coffees we had. We were just placated with a limoncello shot on the house which we did not ask for and wouldn’t have asked for as I had told the hostess I was not drinking because I was driving.I was then shocked and amused to be asked to complete a Google review!Again, great food and menu, and generally very pleasant staff. The atmosphere was also really nice and we enjoyed the evening; but were obviously just disappointed by the unorthodox handling of such a complaint. Otherwise we would absolutely have returned.
