Our first experience with Turkish cuisine was delightful, thanks to the attentive waitress who kindly offered us various samples. The portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing, and the TV screens showcase the preparation of select menu items. The standout from our meal was the Chef Special chicken dish, which was absolutely phenomenal. We are eagerly looking forward to returning to indulge in the pistachio dessert next time.
Delicious food! Lavas bread and baked hummus for an appetizer. Moussaka and Beef Kabobs for entrees. Everything was really good. Atmosphere is okay. Loved the videos of Turkey playing on the TVs. Live music was entertaining but all the Frank Sinatra standards seemed out of place. Bathrooms are dated but the toilet paper is plush! (You're welcome)
Great food and service! Mehmet, our sever was real attentive and took care of all our needs. We even got treated to baklava as a courtesy from the house. I highly recommend giving this place a try
Food and service are phenomenal! We had the stewed eggplant and cucumber yogurt starters with the Lavas bread. We chose the chicken shish kebab as our entree, which was exceptional. The marinade was flavororsome and balanced, the meat was juicy and tender, and there was the perfect amount of char on the outside. The rice was a perfect cook with a delicious flavor and NOT greasy at all. The salad and pickled veggies rounded the meal out perfectly. We split our starter and meal between two people, which was more than enough food. We still managed to be a bit greedy and opt for rice pudding and tea to end our meal. Both were delicious, not as delicious as the entre but still a great way to end our meal. We will be back.
The food at this restaurant is top-notch. I was pleased to see the Falafel was green inside, just like how they make it in Egypt where I often visit. I ordered the lamb and it was outstanding. The waitress was friendly and attentive. When my mother's lamb came out slightly undercooked, they gladly took it back to the kitchen to cook it a bit longer, and it came out with a fresh serving of rice. The rice was amazing! The only reason I am giving four stars is because of the exterior condition of the building. If it weren't for the rave reviews about the food, we may have passed by based on appearance alone. However, this place is a true hidden gem with exceptional Turkish cuisine. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the delicious food makes it worth every penny.
