I was with my friend and her family in Germany and decided to drink for the birthday of me and her little sister tee and cake. we were not greeted by a co-worker when we arrived, although there were 2 behind the counter, of which I must say that they were not at all helpful. we wanted a table for 8 people and we were told that there is no table for this there are plenty of people, although you can see two available tables in the back part of the restaurant. we then sat down, and none of the staff came by to see if we wanted something, and we had to go to the counter and ask if we could order. most of us ordered the chocolate cake they had in the offer, and the rest had cheesecake. I have to say that the cake was delicious and there was no complaining, but also here the staff was set up for an unwilling atmosphere, up to the point where we wanted to go. the employee who accepted the payment also looked disappointed that we had not left a drink money because I had worked in the hospitality industry, a drink money is only justified if a sufficient customer service was offered, and that was not the case here. After we had heard such good things about the caffe, we were least disappointed.

Tasty cake, cozy and castle-like atmosphere, relatiw nice staff, centrally located, good parking possibilities. ok for ice or coffee and cake. too many crosses inside.

The cakes look delicious. The waiting times are unfortunately very long, the staff is totally unorganized. After 45 minutes we got the Getraenke, the cake was unfortunately forgotten. We complained that the waitress Frl. Grimmer showed himself anything but customer-oriented. Guess we're going somewhere else the next time. Yeah, really, incredible and embarrassing. We haven't experienced such an arrogance yet. Love Gastronomics: Only good baking hasn't been enough for a long time. Only those who practice cordial and organised hostage will be rewarded.

We visited my Mutti in Altenberg on the penultimate October Sunday evening. Since we all accept our corona-related limitations, it was their desire to walk through the small beautiful Saxon Erzberg city with us to drink a coffee. Since we had to walk right past the vaults, we could take a first look at the about 15 different cakes, I had already flashed. There were creams, fruits and cheesecakes, whose name was recognized in combination with the sight the “content” and the taste to be expected. Other cakes in turn had fantasy names, they had to either ask or be tastefully surprised. And of course there were also cakes, there were no questions about the composition, like the Black Forest Cherry Torte. The vault is separated from the guest room so that there can be no intercourse for the voter. But also an incident was more problematic. In the place we filled the Coron information sheets and ordered the coffee. The selection was already considerable, but our drinks were quite easy to remember, three cartons and once only one cup of coffee. Then it went to the most important, the masterpieces of Saxon pastry art, the announcement of the desired pieces from the cake. Of course everyone took another piece. Before, of course, we were in the vault to look at the selection in detail and shorten our winners to make our choice. We barely set ourselves right. The young woman served us a friendly smile. Without hesitation, we started to slurries. It was a pleasure for each of us if they put the palate in their hands. And if I tell you now that it was hard for each one of us to make the other taste his piece and, as we were pleased to get a bite from the other pieces, the water comes back together in my mouth. So I'll stop it, put yourself in the kitchens... In the end, there was another iceball I believe to remember about 8 ice creams. That also tasted very good, I had 2 balls because Mutti did not want any; for me Malaga and apple. Not only to eat on the cake, but also when entering, I threw not only a look into the round, on walls, windows, tables and the ceiling. The guest room is decorated with all kinds of things from the old time, on the red ceiling and the walls of the room hang hundreds of coffee pots and many plates with the most beautiful decors, coffee mills and cans, photos and pictures, miners from the finest carved or roasted ores and folk art, nutcrackers and smokers interested eyes of porcelain rays and so many cheerful eyes his brother's price I can only say it was super delicious. In my opinion, the café is a cute, playful place where it is fun to add the desired “bäckeralen” and “conditoral” taste. And for the quality of the offer it also says that it is more difficult here to get a place without pre-order. Only Manko: For my terms, the tables are somewhat narrow, but I assume that the rules are respected as much as possible.
