Treib-gut - Altenhof

Very nice operation

We found this restaurant in TripAdvisor. Was very good, friendly stuff and simple tasty food. Location was super great!

We first stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant last year by pure chance when walking from Eckernfoerde. Going back to it one year later the restaurant still does not disappoint! It is quite a way out of town in what must have once been a quaint old farm house. Their soups are fantastic! But the mains and desserts are great as well. Fresh, young kitchen that offers an alternative to the 'traditional stodgy food ' served in so many places. Prices are reasonable and the staff was really nice. Treib Gut is a good reason to get out of Eckernfoerde town. I can 't wait to go back for more!

Small, pleasantly decorated restaurant with one large room and very large outdoor deck area. Just a little ways out of town and overlooks the Baltic Sea.
