Old Bakery Beer - Alton

The only reason this place gets one star is that they had reasonable activities for kids, like coloring books and blocks. Other than that anything is that was interesting to order they ran out of. Out was out to celebrate my anniversary waited over an hour for food to find out the “kitchen” never got the ticket. Highly disappointed in this establishment, will not be returning.

My dad worked here back in the day when it was Colonial bread. Really cool to come back here with him and see what they've done to the place. It's a nice nod to the history of the building while making it relevant today. Beer selection is solid and the food is good too.

Excellent beer and food in Alton! Likely the best restaurant in entire town and they make really good beer to boot! The space is massive, so there's lots of room for seating and they have games for both kids and adults. Definitely worth the drive from StL!

They have really good beer and a pretty good selection of bar food. I only gave a 3 on service because you order at the bar. Not much service required. No wait also.

This is the second time I have order takeout. Both times my order(s) were brought to my table as Dine in. I mentioned this to the server and she said that there is only one person working in the kitchen. When I place my order, the attendant that took my order was the same guy, and I stated it was carry out. I had ordered a salad for my lunch the next day, but with dressing already on it I not wanting to eat a soggy salad 18hours later.
