Taco Bell - Alton

I visited this restaurant hoping to get a nacho party pack, which turned out to be larger than I expected, so I initially gave it two stars. However, when I paid $100 at checkout, the cashier nearly pocketed $10 of it. I was counting my money before leaving, and although she had my $10 next to the register, she claimed it had been counted. The lemonade tasted diluted, and considering they just reopened, that was disappointing. I used to come here regularly before the renovations, but this experience felt like a serious violation. I don’t appreciate the mishandling of my money.

I ordered chicken tacos but received beef tacos instead. There’s really no excuse for that mistake, but I still want to say I love Taco Bell. This restaurant might have just had an off night. The owner's efforts definitely deserve 5 stars! Taco Bell is amazing. I’m a Taco Rock Star!

Hmm... your street sign indicates that you serve breakfast, but your hours show that you open at 10 am. What’s going on? We were leaving Alton and were eager to stop by for breakfast, but this location wasn’t open. Please update your signage or stop advertising something that isn’t available.

Sadly, awaiting this reopening and hoping for at least an average Taco Bell experience was a waste of optimism. Both soft taco supremes were just regular, almost no cheese on them, and long wait--obviously disorganized and not making the items up to menu standards at all. Just sad, there are really good ones, but this one is still really bad.

Just horrible! I would give it a big fat 0 out of 5 i could ! I've had hospital food better then this slop. ??????
