In person great food service etc if ordered online they might forget some things and trying to call to get that taken care of they will tell you you can pick it up in person and if you don’t they won’t give you a refund or anything it’s annoying as someone who is out of town at the moment when I was told this I couldn’t sit by they wouldn’t fix a mistake they made
Home delivery steak was overcooked and dry afterward. Food: 1 Service: 5.
Throughout our visit, I maintained a professional demeanor and neutral body language. We stayed because we were visiting our daughter at college, and this was her choice of restaurant. If it had just been my husband and me, we likely would have left. As the only African Americans in the establishment, we couldn’t help but notice the underlying issues around us. Our waitress was quite unhelpful; her attention was mostly directed toward another party and her body language was off-putting. We have a three-year-old, and when I asked for a booster seat, it took longer than expected. She brought our child's drink in an adult glass, and I had to ask twice for a proper children’s cup. The overall experience was disappointing. To make matters worse, we were charged for extra sauces while we were still eating. As someone who has worked as a server, I have always left a tip, but this time, it was the smallest amount I've ever given. The waitress even came outside to ask me what she had done wrong. I wrote on the receipt, "Please work on your customer service and body language." It was surprising to see her come outside to confront me about it. If I had ever behaved that way at restaurants like Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, or Logan’s, I would have been fired and possibly charged with harassment. On a positive note, the chef did an excellent job, and the food was truly delicious. However, I did notice that the cleanliness of the place could use improvement; there was a strange substance on the blinds that caught my attention as we were leaving. I had dinner at a non-hibachi table on Saturday night (9/23) and ordered the chicken and steak hibachi dinner. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've ever had. The chicken was as hard as a rock, and the steak was impossible to chew. Overall, I would rate the food a 1.
