Dunkin' - Altoona

The drinks at this location are usually made quite well, and I rarely encounter one that tastes off, although it does happen occasionally. I would recommend avoiding the food, as it often resembles freezer-burnt cardboard, similar to my experiences at other locations. Despite being an all-day breakfast spot, the food isn’t great, except for the donuts, which are a highlight. However, this seems to be a general issue with Dunkin' rather than something specific to this location.

However, I sensed something was off when it took a little while. Then, another kind girl came to the window and explained that their hot chocolate machine wasn’t working properly, and the first girl was attempting to make my hot chocolate by hand! I told her it wasn’t necessary and that I would be just as happy with a French vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar. The first girl then returned with her handmade hot chocolate, which was absolutely fabulous and delicious! The second girl gave me the iced coffee, and when I offered to pay for it to help them with their inventory, they kindly refused to let me. These two girls were incredibly sweet and truly deserve all the recognition in the world! Thank you both for making my day so wonderful!

When I stopped it was very busy but the employees were all friendly and polite. They made sure I knew how long the wait would be and were quick to get my food and drink despite the business. Seemed like a great team.

The crew here is quick, accurate, and courteous. The food is always good and the coffee is just what you need in the morning. I'm a Dunky Junky though...Food: 5/5

This restaurant has gradually declined over the past two months. They've messed up my coffee orders for the last three visits, and one of them was so bad that I couldn't even drink it. It's unfortunate because the staff is really friendly.
