I can say that this place has everything necessary for a successful traditional Emarati cuisine. from taste to traditional dining. I would just like to point out that the prices are little animal-high to compare them.
The only good thing they should go to this place for is seafood and amazing seafood. close to the uaq fish roundabout, we were looking for this place only for its seafood! they do not expect great interiors or plough seats. it is quite simple; almost looks like a fisherman's house. the whole restaurant smells like fish smell on the sea. we had the grilled seabream (which sounded us like supreme and grilled garnels). both grills were perfect! the service is decent. the best to enjoy this great eating is either eating as taking or sitting in the common area instead of the family. neither counts the fish taste nor!
Most people in dubai have no idea that this restaurant exists. a handful of seafood lovers must have found their way into this hidden gem. located in umm al quwain near the fish market, this place is usually open until 4 o'clock daily! this is by far the best seafood place I am in vae. I am sure there are many more possibilities in dubai itself, but wadi al neel has its own charm of emirati tradition. it is always full of native, young and old. their menu items are usually traditional emirati meeresfruit. the most ordered item is jasheed (in desi style u just ask for shark keema). it tastes very like tuna! the best way to eat jasheed is with white rice and ghee. the ghee is served separately in a small bowl, so they feel free to add after their desire. together with this we usually order grilled / roasted garnel and tinted fish together with a large grilled fish. (opting from hammour, sheri and many more local fish) the ambiente is very traditional and the personal always works fast and helpful. they go here if they have long rides and like seafood!
Good place to eat grilled fish. it has a nostalgic ambiente of an old traditional aria. prices are affordable and worth. Do not forget to taste their delicious seafood soup.
Great traditional restaurant; quick and polite service; fresh seafood; quick takeaway delivery; overall good food and service. Unique ambiance....
