Hampton Chutney Co. - Amagansett

It had been several years since my last visit, and it was a treat to introduce my children to their famous dosas. We ordered two dosas, a selection of their chutneys (each for just 50 cents—I highly recommend trying them all!) and the dal soup. Everything we had was fantastic! We did skip the mango lassi this time, which is a delicious traditional Indian yogurt smoothie that we usually love, but if you haven't tried one yet, you definitely should! If you're a fan of caffeinated drinks, you can't go wrong with the various chai and coffee options they offer. My personal favorite is the cardamom coffee. If you're looking for something delightful and different, do give the Hampton Chutney Co. a try!

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Hamptons and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I had the Masala Deluxe Dosa (though I'd consider trying the plain Masala next time) along with the cilantro and mango chutneys. I also enjoyed a refreshing iced cardamom coffee! If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out!

Above all, the Curry Chutney chicken dosa was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. Seriously, it was that good! We enjoyed everything we ordered. The place was quite busy, which shows that many others find it worth a visit too. While the indoor seating is somewhat limited, we managed to snag a corner counter. If the weather is nice, there are plenty of picnic tables out front where you can also enjoy your meal.

I always get the same dosa every time #6. For almost two decades here. I can eat here every day! Sad (bitter sweet) to see it, close it doors in Amagansett at the end of this summer.

Quite pleased by this location nearby! My daughter put me on to this... I love love love the dosa. Cannot wait to try them all! Wonderful healthy eating. Homemade cookies were superb.... not to mention the mango drink! No complaints. Will definitely be my new go-to spot in Amagansett
