Just wanted fries to go. Was told to wait a minute. Waited about ten and left. I love this place, but this is really not good service. Meal type: Other

We ordered Mussels for an appetizer, half of them did not open during cooking which could indicate either not cooked fully, or already dead when being cooked. They didn't bring us any extra plates so we kind of had to huddle around the food. The broth was good though. Wife and I got the stuffed chicken breast meal, and the brisket sandwich and shared both. The chicken breast was dry and my half was 3 bites worth of food. The cherry reduction sauce with it was good, but didn't fit with the chicken. The brisket sandwich was also dry. It had maybe 2 slices of brisket on the whole thing. The gouda cheese was broiled until it was black and I picked it off. The fries had a good amount of salt but were a bit soggy. When the food was dropped off we requested a side of BBQ sauce. There are no condiments at the table. Our waiter never returned to our table the rest of the night. I had to go to the hotel bar to request to pay, and they sent me back to the restaurant and the bartender went to find my server who claimed they were making salads. We were our servers only table. When we left there were only 2 other tables with patrons on a Saturday night. Don't recommend eating there but a cool atmosphere. We stopped in for a snack and cocktails and were pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were top notch as the bar tender TJ was truly amazing and definitely knew her stuff. I had steel-cut oat cakes, which were delicious. My wife had an egg-potato bowl with all different colors of potatoes. Kind of a foodie place but not too expensive.
