Gooney's - Amarillo

I had a great experience at this restaurant! I tried the Fish Tacos, which were quite unique—made with cornmeal-coated catfish and a delicious wasabi sauce. I also enjoyed the kimchi fries; they offered a fun, bold flavor change. The combination of flavors was fantastic and really created an enjoyable Asian vibe. Even though it was a busy time and there was only one waitress, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

The food was fantastic! Unfortunately, the service was lacking; the waitress was slow and had trouble refilling our drinks. On top of that, there’s an additional 4% fee for using a credit card that they don't mention until you see the bill. I'm not sure if I would return.

I haven't been back since COVID, but I'm so excited to be visiting Amarillo this week. I'm incredibly happy to see that you’re still around! We're traveling 600 miles to get there, and as always, you’ll be the highlight of our trip. See you soon! Definitely the best restaurant ever!

1st time here. Best Asian food in Amarillo!!! Everything was excellent. Fresh ingredients, great flavor! Definitely need to try if you haven?t. Very, very good!

Great place to eat and the owners are extremely nice and welcoming! If you haven?t eaten here yet I highly recommend you do. The food is always cooked fresh so it?s hot when it comes out and the service is great.
