Joe's Catering - Amarillo

Awful, just awful. This was a panic choice because our first choice was closed. We should have known what we were in for when we heard the lame college boy rock pop that was playing and the overly abundant decorative beer-themed flair. The service was super slow. We waited for quite a while for our order. My husband was pretty disappointed in his brisket and sausage. He called it basic and dried out. My children's fries were doused in salt. My salad was mostly cheese. Then we had the pleasure of waiting for the check and waiting again for the waiter to take the payment.

Very good food at good prices. The mango/habanero sauce is legit. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. I wanted a t-shirt but they were out I guess. That's my only gripe. I'll give 5 stars when I get a shirt. Lol.

Took the family in for dinner, everyone found something they liked! I ordered the catfish basket, huge amount of food! Hot and fresh! The hush puppies were delicious and homemade, even had real pieces of corn in it!! Can’t wait to go back!

The food is exceptional especially the catfish basket. The BBQ is definitely one of the best If not the best I’ve tried. Great hospitality and their happy hour specials are definitely some of the cheapest around.
