X Steakhouse - Amarillo

The cocktails were delicious, service was prompt and the food was unique. My wife had the shrimp stuffed with crab and enjoyed it, the sides were also great. I had the red fish with rice and a Cesar salad. The salad had a little kick but was not at all spicy. It was one of the better Cesar's I have had in a while. The fish portion was huge, there were little shrimps in the sauce and the flavor was great. Overall the experience was great and we will be back. Great location for a date night, the town square has a nice vibe.

Maybe it was because it was Christmas and there were several parties.....but nothing was special. My filet was tender but not much flavor and no crust for flavor on the outside. My husband's New York strip was full of fat Like you'd expect from a ribeye. No seasonings on the steaks. We had to ask for rolls. We've just been to steakhouses recently that had pickles on the table....added a carrot to the plate....brought bread. This just didn't meet expectations. We were disappointed.

We enjoy everything we've tried at X Bar. Reservation app, food, friendly waiters/waitresses, bartenders, and managers were a team that makes our dining for brunch on Sunday mornings every week very special!

I ordered a 10 ounce sirloin with steak fries. The fries were cool to the touch and the steak was also cool/warm with no seasoning at all, my girlfriendhad the quail which was also cool/warm. Very bland dinner for 70.00 (two people). The waitress was very nice and at our table often checking on us. The service was absolutely stellar!

I've always had excellent steaks that are cooked perfectly. The X- kitchen is managed very well and they are serious about serving your food to your exact specifications and expectations. Our food was delicious, we had excellent service, and enjoyed our evening.
