I visited Amasra for the first time this past weekend in May 2019. Amasra holds a significant historical importance in the modern Turkish republic, as it was where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk planned the uprising against the occupying imperialist forces. Yamaç Bistro is situated on a steep hill overlooking the town. The road from the town center to the Bistro is well-maintained, and our large bus had no trouble reaching the location. There is ample parking available, so you do not have to worry about where to park your car. The menu is similar to other restaurants of its kind, but what sets this place apart is the breathtaking view it offers of downtown Amasra. If you find yourself in Amasra, make sure to dine at this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, with a breathtaking view of the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service and food. The food was mediocre at best and the use of broken glasses and dishes on the table was unacceptable. Our order of salad and soup was served with the main course and our dishes did not all arrive at the same time. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.
