No.1 Ahuja Dhaba - Ambāla

I never miss Murthan Dhaabaas whenever travel on the NH-1. Last two time, I missed No.1 Ahuja because after the flyover construction, I used to be unsure of its exact location. So the last year, I made a stopover at Pahalwan Dhaba. That too was excellent and better than No 1 Ahuja in terms of toilet cleanliness and overall upkeep.I have been stopping over to Ahuja since 1996 and found the parathaas yummy. I have never ordered any item other than Parathaas, white butter, Curd and Tea. Pickle is always complimentary and good. If I compare the taste of Gobhi (Coli flower) Parathas of Ahuja with others like Pahalwan or Gulshan, I find something special with Ahuja . May be that extra ginger. The thickness of the Parathas is bit more. For me that's a plus.May be many people like a thinner Parathaa. Service is excellent too. Overall, not-to-missed joint for me while travelling North of Delhi. I would have rated it 5* had the toilets been as clean as that of Pahalwan Dhaba

The dhabas are very popular on NH and we usually try these while going to Chandigarh. The food is very nice and fresh with good quality.

The ambiance is not that good like Amrik sukhdev. But food quality is amazing. I would give 4.5 rating for this restaurant.

Food of the Ahuja dhaba is very much similar to the other dhabas in the area , but overall experience was nice one

I visited this dhaba after a long time with my family, while we were on the way to shimla. the place us still as good as it always has been.the food is amazingly delicious. you can order anything without having to worry about its quality and taste. my family enjoyed every morsel we had here. my mom is now a big fan of this dhaba.highly recommended to all the foodies around
