During the journey in this route, you often suffer from the dilema, whether you leave the elevated road to eat there or continue driving for a smooth and faster journey. But please listen to my advice. You have to stop there for lunch or dinner. If not hungry, grab it. Just don't miss the opportunity. We ate Mutton Keema and Mutton Qorma at the restaurant and got Rogan Josh and Dal Makhani at home. The preparations are fantastic, divine. It's a wonder how they keep consistency. The costs are very moderate to say the least. Thinking it is fame lies in non-veg dishes, but you get limited but quality veg preparations also. About 10 years back, the restaurant was smaller, parking was very difficult and food was only available from 12 pm to 430/5 pm. Today they have a larger seating order, daily working hours and parking as well. There are other restaurants with the same name next to this, but don't go there. This original Puran Dhaba opposite the side street, has photo of famous food vlogger Mayur and Vishal. The specimens are on the main road. Be careful. The cost of descent from the elevated road is nothing compared to the joy, a good food in the original Puran da Dhaba. Make sure you never miss it.
I visited here on 17. November 2021 with my father there are several Dhabas named as Puran ka dhaba, but in this Dhaba Puran Singh Ka Mashoor Vishal Dhaba) the food is very good we try Chicken Curry Keema Meat with Tandoori Roti both dishes were very good in taste especially Keema Meat You must try this dish if you are a Mutton lover. One thing I want to tell the owners is to keep clean washrooms.
I've heard so much about this place for years. So it had to try. Although the ambience was not so big and cleanliness was just ok. The best part was the food that was delicious. We had meat rice/kema kaleji/ Mutton. Curry with tandoori roti and food was excellent it was served with mint Chutney and onions
Excellent food coupled with hospitality. The best time to visit is at 1 o'clock, as only a few option after the... check out the original behind the pure Veg restaurent on the main road.
Chicken curry tastes homemade. No sharp spices, no bite. I have eaten chicken recipes before at other famous Dhaba's and Hotels but this is a unique and different experience all together. Prices are affordable. Chicken curry in the photo costs Rs 150. Only down side is that Dhaba lacks aesthetic and need great work on the interior. You will be disappointed on this norm. People who have uploaded beautiful looking indoor photos of the Dhaba, has been to wrong place. Otherwise....highly recommended if you're on the move and tired of eating spicy non-veg food.
