Chesters By The River - AMBLESIDE

This restaurant is a fantastic discovery! I've only been here for a week, but I can't wait to come back. The salads and wood-fired pizzas are amazing. I also took some scones to go, and they were absolutely delicious! The shop is lovely, and taking a walk along the river to Langdale was a great experience.

To begin with, this restaurant is welcoming to dogs, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is just right. You must try the falafels and the scones.

We visited Chester's for the first time and were not disappointed. I ordered the poached eggs and my wife had the vegetarian kedgeree, both of which were delicious. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was lovely, making for a great dining experience. We definitely plan on returning when we are in the area again.

We had our first visit to Chester’s yesterday! We loved it! Beautiful shop with lovely items for the home or gifts for loved ones, and amazing food! We tried a curried chickpea and sweet potato pastie....Absolutely delicious We stumbled across the shop whilst out on a walk, we’ll definitely be back!
