The venue is a fusion of slightly jazzed up ‘olde worlde’ with jazz bubbling in the background in...the background, the food, cooked in sight, was modern designer to a tee. Thank you.
Lucky to have been able to reserve as it’s very small. Limited menu but delicious dishes and well presented. Lots of character and excellent service. Open on a Monday which is a bonus.
The menu read well with good food combinations . Not a huge menu though but we enjoyed it very much. Lovely glass of fizz to local organic fizz to start reasonable size of a starter , possibly not big enough to share and mains were...on the small side which suits me but if you have a big appetite possibly you’d need three courses here.
We were at the end of a day cycling trip. My wife is celiac and we were able to have a truly marvelous meal. A romantic stop that we will never forget. Food was magnificent, the owner and staff were so welcoming and were...patient and incredibly welcoming. We hope to return some time in the future. Merci La Fourchette!
Went on Monday, October when most other restaurants in town were closed. You have to make reservations— lots of folks turned away. Place was run completely by person and it was amazing. person greeting, seating, apologizing because they are full, taking orders,...preparing orders, serving, etc... tables, limited menu of the day, was all great. The dishes lent themselves to not being overcooked to fit the place. I had lamb that was super tender that was so good that my spouse who doesn’t like lamb, liked this lamb. Prices were reasonable. Good mix of French and non-French patrons. Plan ahead and enjoy.
