Amboy Family Pizza

Went to the amboy family restaurant for a late lunch our waitress was very nice, it was her first day, but she was very helpful. there was another woman.

I wait 30 minutes to order. in this time the people went in full and gone. the coffee was not good. the waitress tries to wait.

Sad to say that this restaurant has gone so strongly since the last few cooks. the owner steve brought this up by not paying his help.

The restaurant is now under new family ownership and has expanded their menu. The dining experience is enjoyable and some of the same attentive waitstaff are still working there.

We went to Amboy Family Restaurant for a late lunch. Our waitress was very nice, even though it was her first day she was very helpful. However, there was another woman who was not friendly or helpful. The restaurant is your typical family restaurant, nothing special and a bit run down, but it is clean. The food was just okay. I ordered a steak sandwich that was supposed to be served on a hoagie roll, but instead, it was served on toast which was very dry. The steak itself was very thin and well-cooked, making it tough like leather. Someone at our table ordered a Colorado burger and said it was okay. Another person ordered a reuben sandwich and said it was good, although they weren't a fan of the rye bread, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The soup was good, hot, and fresh. We also ordered an appetizer of cheese curds which were delicious and served hot.
