Come on, eat, get the handle! we were warmly welcomed and sitting next to the stream (other the pa was blowing girls just want to have Fuu-uun in the shadow of a huge old baumes. our attentive server had little English, makes us even, but we had no problem ordering la formule, always doing a safe thing. the seafood in the paella were fresh and exceptionally tasteful; the paella was dressed with a dozen mushles from the dish to go with the eight in its dish. a big counterpoint: the perfectly prepared chicken and the four generous rounds of the local sausage. the rice and the paprika were delicious. a beautiful glass local house white wine, and two beautiful small salads place with sharp local spring greens. for dessert, a good block of delicious local cheese and another small salad with a delicious balsamico vinaigrette. all for 33 euro. I hope that this review will be this sweet little place on the ladder where it belongs.
Pleasant little restaurant small restaurant in a beautiful location served average eating for average prices. the personal was friendly and offers a good service.
We (a group of 11) were this restaurant recommended by a local? they put a table for us some of us wanted on the way we saw the service for other guests, but it was too late so we decided to give them the advantage of the doubt. that was a mistake! the owner had a bad attitude while the waitress tried to damp that from 4 well done inserts a 45 minutes later, after each had their meal, we had to remember it the head waiter after we remembered it before a waiter it bleeding, some of the dishes were good, but some were really poor. we really wondered why it was recommended to one of us, as we later here and there inquire that it was the worst place to eat.
Pleasant friendly staff and an excellent location at the river, but everything else was terrible. my man and I were given pleasure with our main course and we have no idea what they were. I had the thick smoked gammonsteak, couldn't be fat. to find, my man had the Catalan sausage that was quite terrible. asked if we wanted to with dessert chantilly, that if the bill came an additional 1 euro per. unbelievable. avoid this place.
It's a small restaurant, very busy in summer but it's closed during winter. It serves a mixture of French and Catalan cuisine; it has a lovely terrace to dine during the warm summer months. When you are here, try its Mussels in Banyuls sauce and...French Fries!
