The ramen is fantastic, I highly recommend the black garlic pork belly, the pork was tender and the broth hit the spot. My wife loved both her sushi rolls and commented on how good the rice was on them. We will definitely be returning several times.
First thing first the ambience was amazing, super trendy and modern. The establishment is very clean and well kept.the food was AMAZING and I’m a picky sushi fanatic. I share my food with a friend and we got two appetizers and four sushi rolls, along with a boba drink. Their boba was super good I’m not the most familiar with boba but next time I want boba I’ll just go there. For appetizers we got gyoza and rock shrimp and WOW it was soooo good. Best gyoza I have ever had and I could eat their rock shrimp all day. The four rolls we got were golden dragon, Blue ocean, playboy, Vegas. They were all super fresh and delicious my favorite was golden dragon. It had great texture and flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant. As a bonus the restroom was super clean and smelled like flowers ?
The Chicken Fried Ramen was tasty, but the sushi while fairly standard has gone up. Main reason I enjoyed here was the relatively low cost of the meals. I don't blame them too much as inflation is hitting everyone. Past owner would serve expired food on rare occasion, was delighted for that to not be the case with the new owner so far. However, I found a bone in my sushi roll the exciting way, nearly stabbing the inside of my throat. I don't think I'll be ordering sushi here ever again.
Used to live in Hawaii so I have had my fair share of good sushi. I was not expecting much from this restaurant but we were craving sushi and this place was open a little later than other sushi places in the area. Place looks nice when you walk in but the food was so underwhelming and tasteless. The fish tasted very old and the rolls have very little flavor. Also, each roll had a ridiculously small amount of fish on them. For the quality of the food the sushi was majorly overpriced. Went home and my wife got sick after eating here. I would not recommend this place. There are better sushi restaurants in the area for similar pricing.
Stopped by Tamashi after a Saturday trip to Costco. If you 've ever been to Costco on a Saturday you know just how hungry you will be after battling people throughout the store. Tamashi is in a smaller shopping center but has plenty of parking. I sat around 3:30pm without any issues. There were a few other groups but there was plenty of seating. Tamashi serves both regular sushi and all you can eat options. The waitress told me that because it was the weekend it was at dinner prices and drink was not included. At $27ish dollars I think it 's a little on the pricey side but i came hungry so it wasn 't too difficult to make if worthwhile. Just know that the lunch version of the ayce doesn 't include special rolls but the dinner version does. I started off with some gyoza and miso soup. The gyoza were crispy and the sauce had a hint of sweetness with a good amount of tangy flavor. The miso was flavorful but I wish there was a little more tofu and seaweed. On my first set I rolls I went with some classics, spicy tuna and yellowtail jalapeño. The spicy tuna was so so it didn 't offer as much flavor as I had hoped. The yellowtail jalapeño was perfect with just enough pepper to give it some good heat. My follow up roll was the sweetheart special roll. The spicy tuna combined with the avocado was a better balance than just the spicy tuna by itself. The slice of tuna topper with the sriracha sauce was fantastic. Overall, I think Tamashi isn 't bad but I feel like the price tag was a little high. I 'd like to come back and try the ramen, maybe another time.
