Wallabys Smokehouse - American Fork

Maybe this just wasn't our vibe, but the food kind of felt really random. The normal thing to get is just a heap of meat on a baking sheet with a couple sides. It just doesn't feel like a real meal. They have good rolls.

We used to really like Wallaby’s. Great food at a good price. There’s some decent gluten free options too. Lately though we’ve had food that tastes bad like mashed potatoes where the sour cream tasted bad, over cooked chicken to the point it’s crispy, and Mac and cheese that tasted like salt was dumped on it. They also tend to be out of some menu items and soda regularly. I’d love to see the quality come back up to what it was for the past few years.

Holy smokes. We thought we’d try this place. I’ve made better decisions. School lunches are better than this. The meat was stone cold and so hard we couldn’t cut it. The sides were a slight improvement but not much. The fact that the place was basically empty on New Year’s Eve should have clued us in. We’ve learned our lesson.

It took 45 minutes to get our food and when we got it the food was cold.
