El Azteca - Ames

Always served fast food coming hot quickly. It's on the spicy side, but still very good. I would give 4 stars due to the lack of communication, to pay in front or with the server. It's not just a waiter who works well, it's new to her... It is unpleasant to try to find out and wait. Nevertheless, the food/the atmosphere was great. It was very clean that they work as a great team.

I loved El Azteca and always visited when we come back to Ames. Tonight, El Azteca joined. A big group of my family ~40) came to celebrate my grandmother's life and the staff was fantastic. They served our great group with efficiency, accuracy and grace. The dishes and drinks were excellent as always and the service was excellent. Thank you so much for having such a good experience our evening of communion.

Had a decent experience here,but will still give it 4 stars. Took a while to get ordered, even though not many people there, and server seemed a little aggressive. Food presentation was excellent, food was decent

Fast service, great portion size, reasonable prices, a great atmosphere. Perfect for a weary traveler!

Even though the restaurant was empty, we were sat in a corner with no TVs or anything to look at when booths were obviously open. Couldn't see the football game, and one of the workers stood by our table the ENTIRE time we were there. Both ended up getting food poisoning. Complete waste of a whole day from getting sick, and a waste of $50. Never coming back.
