Little Taipei - Ames

Great people. Great food. This is our favorite place to go in Ames! I get the Thai Curry Vegetable.

I love Chinese food, so I usually give a lot of leeway when it comes to things like this. But this wasn’t it. The food had no taste at all, and the fried rice is just steamed yellow rice. It’s cheap food, yes, but it’s not worth it in my opinion.

We went for dinner and it was pretty quiet inside. Most people opted for take out. The parking lot is a little small, but the food was good. The price was low. The service was extremely friendly and quick and the place was clean. I definitely recommend if you're looking for some quick, affordable, and good tasting Chinese food.

The lady at the counter was rude and didn't want to help me. They didn't have enough rice or shrimp in my order and the egg rolls are not the normal size. They where too small. I will never come to this place again. The owner was very nice to me.

Very cozy and comfortable place! It has been my go-to place when I was in Iowa State to take a short walk from Black Engineering and grab a quick lunch. 8 years later when I visited again, the owner has changed but the food is still great!
