West Street Deli - Ames

Loved West Street when I lived on Campus Ave many years ago. Loved the smells when walking back to my apt from class. Always make a point to visit when we're back in the area for a visit! Such great sandwiches!

Great service good food. Went in when they were closing (didn't know) they still made me a sandwich and was very nice! Going to double the tip when I go in next because you can't leave a tip with credit card and I didn't have cash on me!

A family favorite going on 17 years now!!! Soups are excellent, egg salad is THE best, etc. etc.

My office is right across the street...it is nearly impossible to get through the week without eating WSD at least once! The food is amazing and the staff is even better.

They have the best daily special sandwiches, and their chili is so delicious!
