I have enjoyed my food at the Ristorante Molise for over 25yrs. They started in Wakefield and moved to Amesbury. They have the best fried calamari appetizer around. Their dinners are also excellent. Kid-friendliness: Grandsons was with us and they were willing to accommodate his request for pasta w/ sauce. Wheelchair accessibility: They are right off main sidewalk, no stairs

RISTORANTE MOLISE ! Wow, what a delicious meal my gal and I had there! The staff is friendly and attentive. Good drinks. Nice atmosphere. We started with sensibly-sized salads. Very good, and they were included with the entrées! She had eggplant parm with pasta, and a side of meatballs. OMG, the meatballs were so delicious, in an excellent red sauce, AND there were four in the serving the size of tennis balls. I didn't try the eggplant, but the serving was huge and she said very yummy. I had cioppino. Another OMG! It was the best I've ever had! Loaded with six shrimp, many scallops, class, mussels, a big piece of haddock, potatoes, and I was able to skip the calamari. The broth was spicy and delicious. They serve great, crusty bread for sopping if you like. It was all around $100 for food and two drinks each, and we both took home leftovers. Here's a Pic of my cioppino...
