Asked about WiFi, was told curtly that they don’t have it, and when I asked if there was some other option, given all the laptops out, the barista again said no, this time with apparent contempt. A fellow customer sitting nearby informed me there is town WiFi, otherwise everyone uses their hotspot. That’s all I wanted to know. Rude service.
One of my favorites of all time. Their croissants and cookies are to die for and their baristas make really great drinks. I don’t drink but I hear the bar is wonderful as well at night. I used to come in late at night in college and order a pot of tea and study or read. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been back and I love the newly renovated space but also miss the old space and it’s cozy vibe.
We just had coffee so can't judge food. Coffee was good... But I had an Americano so hard to say it was anything other than
I got a cortado and my partner got a matcha cold brew both were really good! Coffee was nice and milk was just perfectly warm but not too hot.
We enjoy Amherst Coffee during the day, but trying to find a Sat night after-movie spot with friends is IMPOSSIBLE. Often all the 4-person tables are taken by a solo person on a computer. At peak times, please request (or a sign requesting) solo computer users sit at the large shared table to free up table space for small groups. You'll gain business from Amherst Cinema patrons and it will be more equitable for ALL!
