I had an excellent breakfast experience. The food was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. I appreciate that they use a lot of compostable and eco-friendly materials for their utensils and supplies; it's a commendable effort for the environment. Additionally, their alcoholic morning drinks are truly delightful.

Now, for the highlight that everyone has been waiting for: the food! The mouthwatering, stomach-satisfying dishes arrived in about 10 minutes after placing our order. I was blown away by how amazing everything tasted, and the presentation was top-notch. We ordered one Blueberry Buttermilk Pancake, three slices of French Toast, and a breakfast sandwich made with a giant English muffin, speck, egg, and cheese. We also added pure maple syrup for about $1.50. Initially, I had hoped the maple syrup would come in small, Covid-friendly plastic cups with lids, but I later realized that pure maple syrup is quite expensive, and there ended up being plenty for my meal. I must admit that I caught some envious glances from other tables as I piled my food high—haha! While the meal was a bit on the pricey side, I'm completely willing to invest in high-quality food every time. Another cool detail: the restaurant uses bamboo plates, making them environmentally friendly. All staff members wore masks, and it appeared that the utensils were also eco-conscious, as they were not your typical plastic types; instead, they were wrapped in large napkins and sealed with the café’s logo. If I had one wish, it would be to have more blueberries in the pancakes. However, this minor detail didn’t detract from my overall experience or my review of this delightful little café. I absolutely adore this charming brunch spot, especially for their pig bell Benedict—it's been my favorite for years! You definitely have to try the French toast with whipped cream; it's a must-have dessert!

Korean Kimchi burrito is worth getting back here. Just perfect! I am also a sucker for perfect posing eggs.... Winner! Perfection. The team is super friendly and extremely helpful.

First time eating brunch in a long time and Jake’s did not disappoint!!!! The egg bowl with pulled pork is absolutely amazing. Such a hidden gem with a cute location and delicious food, UMass kids can take the 33 to summer st and be right here :
