Speck's Restaurant - Amherstburg

This is on a little side street a few blocks from the core. It 's basically, the front of a house where they added a small kitchen and dining. Simple sandwiches with quality ingredients. My wife had the club sandwich with hand pulled chicken. The chicken...was a little dry but tasty. A little more mayo would have solved the issue. I had a Brady Sandwich a BLT with lots of homemade dill, mayo and mustard. The tomato was plentiful, thick, and had that summer taste where it 's good enough to have it on it 's own, in toast with a little mayo. It was perfect to take down to the Navy Yard for a little picnic. Oh...and awesome brownie!!

The personal is friendly. four of us were there for breakfast; my husband and I had cinnamon French, which was normal bread, two slices. 2 cups coffee and control add $21.00 to comparison I have always received 3 thick discs with an orange disc at other places for the same price or less. our friend got eggs and toast, but had to pay $3.00 extra for kartoffeln and not harassed with speck. due to the Kovid restrictions, we were asked to go immediately when we finished eating so that we leave some of the coffee. the woman who served us was perhaps the owner. She was very nice. the dings could be different in non-kovided circumstances.
