It's never just one thing:, it's the ambiance, staff, the food, the decor, the view. I love staying in Old Town and Shanti is a big reason for that. Of course, the ice cream is fantastic but it's the cocktails and daily, usually and hopefully pasta, dishes that always catch my attention and kept me coming back. The Shanti Garden cocktail is a must. Fe Fe sources the ingredients locally and turns them in the most inventive dishes, with Italian and French inspiration. Both he and Colleen are so sweet and welcoming. I can't say enough good things. I can't wait until my next trip to Koh Lanta so I can eat and drink there again:
